preparation

The specified quantity makes 3 rolls and is enough for about 2 people.
  1. Blend the Boiled Peanuts Salted Caramel with the banana and vanilla extract in a blender.
  2. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water.
  3. Put the flour and dissolved yeast into a bowl with the remaining ingredients except for the peanut mixture and knead for 5 minutes on a low setting. Then add the peanut mixture and knead for another 2 minutes on a medium setting. If the dough is too dry, add a little lukewarm water. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 2 hours at room temperature.
  4. Preheat oven to 220°C top/bottom heat.
  5. After the dough has risen, place it on a lightly floured work surface and cut off 3 pieces of dough, shape them into rounds and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover and let rise again for 10 minutes.
  6. Spray the dough pieces with water, cut them and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Place the rolls in the preheated oven and immediately steam the oven with water (spray water into the oven a few times).
  8. Bake the rolls for 16-18 minutes until golden brown, depending on the oven, with the oven door slightly open for the last 2 minutes.
  9. After baking, let the rolls cool on a rack.

It is best to serve rolls while they are still lukewarm. They taste great with a sweet spread.

Enjoy your meal!
