What is the Nutri-Score?

The Nutri-Score is a food label that shows you at a glance what nutritional value a particular food has. This provides more orientation and transparency when shopping. Our boiled peanuts have a Nutriscore A or B, but you already know that, right? You can find more information here .

Why are your products more expensive than other peanut products in the supermarket?

Our peanut products are more expensive due to several factors related to quality and production methods. Firstly, we produce in a factory in Germany, which ensures high quality control and the use of high-quality ingredients. Secondly, we use a special jumbo variety of peanuts that are processed raw. This process helps to preserve more of the good ingredients and gives our products a unique quality and taste. These jumbo peanuts are about 3-4 times more expensive than the conventional peanuts that are usually used in roasted products.

In addition, we currently only offer our products online. The logistics and shipping costs, including handling in the warehouse, are significantly higher than what we charge our customers for shipping. These additional costs are reflected in the final price of our products, and we always strive to offer our customers the best value for their investment in quality and sustainability. We plan to complete the first retail listings, then we can also offer the products in individual packaging at a much lower price.

How do I eat boiled peanuts?

Whatever you like. You can enjoy our boiled peanuts warm or cold.

As an appetizer or snack?

Pour the liquid out of the bag and put the peanuts in a bowl. Similar to pickled olives, you can give a prick to friends, but honestly: they taste best with your fingers - and if you're really hungry, a spoon will do just fine.

Boiled peanuts as a topping?

Pour the liquid into a bowl and refine your bowl or salad with boiled peanuts. You can use the remaining liquid to season as desired.

As a healthy mima (mini meal) for in between meals?

Heat the boiled peanuts in the cut-open bag in the microwave, for example with rice or pasta. If there are any left over, which we doubt, close the bag and put it in the fridge. The remaining boiled peanuts will stay fresh for a few days, but not too long.

How long do boiled peanuts last?

Our boiled peanuts have a best before date of up to two years. You can find the best before date on the bottom right of the bag.

Are boiled peanuts vegan?

Like all peanuts, our boiled peanuts are vegan. We also only use vegan ingredients in the production and seasoning.

Where do the peanuts for your boiled peanuts come from

For our boiled peanuts we source a special type of peanuts. These come from China, by far the world's largest exporter of peanuts.

What allergens do boiled peanuts contain?

Our Boiled Peanuts contain the following allergens, which are also identified in accordance with the applicable labeling requirements: peanuts, soy and wheat, both of which are contained in the soy sauce.

Where does the high fiber content of boiled peanuts come from?

Like other nuts, seeds and legumes, peanuts have a naturally high fiber content compared to other foods.

What if I don’t like your Boiled Peanuts?

In case you don’t like our Boiled Peanuts or are not convinced by the quality, our taste guarantee will help you. In this case, we will take back our product within 30 days without any ifs or buts and refund the purchase price. Simply fill out the cancellation form with the keyword “taste guarantee” and send it to us. Feel free to share your feedback with us so we can improve in the future.

Ordering, shipping and payment

Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?

Within Germany we charge a flat shipping fee of €5.90 for orders under €29.00. For orders over €29.00 the flat shipping fee is reduced to €2.50.

For shipping to Austria we charge a flat shipping fee of €6.90 for orders under €30.00. For orders over €30.00 the flat shipping fee is reduced to €3.50.

We currently only deliver to the countries listed above.

How long does the delivery take?

Orders received by 3pm on working days will be dispatched the same day. All other orders will be dispatched the following working day.

In Germany you will receive your delivery 1-2 working days after dispatch. In Austria you will receive your delivery 3-5 working days after dispatch.

Which delivery service will handle my order?

In Germany, your orders are delivered by DPD. In all other countries, the order is shipped by DHL.

Can I have my order delivered to a packing station?

Since DHL is not currently a shipping partner in Germany, we cannot deliver orders to a Packstation. However, DPD offers the option of having orders delivered to participating parcel shops. You can find corresponding addresses in your area on the DPD website.

My package didn't arrive - what now?

Don't worry, sometimes it happens that an order gets lost during shipping. Please send us a message with your order number via the contact form. We will deal with your request as quickly as possible.

How can I return a delivery?

Returning an item is easy. Simply send us a message via WhatsApp or email to: info@whackyfood.com.

How can I cancel an order?

If you have placed an order by mistake and the order has not yet been processed, we will try to cancel it in the system. Please send us a message with your order number using the contact form .

If your order is already being processed - no problem, you can cancel your order within 14 days. To do so, you just need to send us a cancellation within the specified period and send the order back to us. Please note that we do not refund the costs of returning the goods.

My delivery is incomplete, what can I do?

We are very sorry about that! Please send us a message with your order number via the contact form and a note about the missing items in your order.

I entered the wrong address when I placed my order. Can I change this afterwards?

This is possible, but only as long as your order has not yet been processed. Please send us a message with your order number via the contact form with the address to be updated.

What payment methods are available?

In our shop you can use the following payment options:

  • Debit and credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro.
  • Payments via Bancontact, iDEAL, Klarna invoice and Sofort.
  • PayPal.

Customer account

How do I create a customer account?

You can create a customer account at any time via the login page on the homepage. This automatically gives you access to your orders, profile information and stored shipping and billing address(es) and speeds up the completion of your order.

I forgot my password - what now?

You can reset the password for your customer account yourself on the login page .

How do I redeem a discount / voucher code?

The input field for discounts and voucher codes will be displayed during checkout. You can enter the code here and activate the discount or voucher.
